Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser.
Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.
Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.
Effective Tips to get rid of blackheads

鈥se creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.
鈥void washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.
鈥ften use a mask with a clay base.
If blackheads look ready to pop out, you could try removing them gently by using a blackhead extractor. Also, Pore cleanser strips (blackhead extractor) for removal of blackheads are highly recommended for the treatment/removal of blackheads. Using them once per week will leave your pores cleaner and smaller.
Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.
=)I broke out on my neck and i have blackheads all over my cheeks ,chin and nose what can i do?????? help!?
Pore strips are great for clearing up the blackheads on your nose, cheeks and chin. If those don't help, you may want to visit a dermatologist or esthetician to have them removed by a professional. Trying to remove them yourself could lead to scarring and bruising.
I hate to say it, but there is no quick fix for break-outs, but you can minimize and reduce the occurances with a good skin care routine. Problem skin needs extra TLC to look and feel good and prevention is key.
1) Wash your face and throat twice a day, morning and night, with mild soap or an anti-acne face wash if you have it.
2) Pat your face dry with a fresh, clean towel - don't rub your skin because it could contribute to any inflammation you might already have.
3) Use a toner or anti-acne skin treatment. Be sure to follow the instructions on the bottle and don't get any in your eye! (It really, really hurts... I speak from experience!) If you notice your skin getting too dry, do this step only once per day or every other day.
4) Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! No matter your gender or skin type, you need to moisturize to keep your skin soft and protected; use a moisturizer with an SPF because problem skin can be easily irritated from sun exposure.
5) Exfoliate your skin once a week or so. Sloughing off the dead surface cells will keep your skin soft and smooth. It will also prevent those dead cells from clogging your pores and making more blackheads.
6) Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet - it won't clear your skin but you can't have healthy skin without a healthy body.
There are other treatments you can add to this routine as well such as steam facials, mud masques, etc. but none of them will help much if you don't have a good, basic skin care routine.I broke out on my neck and i have blackheads all over my cheeks ,chin and nose what can i do?????? help!?
